over the time i read the wicked with in, the final book.
Summary: Athena tries to destroy the society of New 2 by making the nine heirs battling each other than together against Athena. Ari later, with the help of her boyfriend awake a good to destroy Athena once and for all. Also to figure out that the hands of Zeus carry Athena's baby. Athena wants to bring her son back to life. Medusa had turned her baby into stone and since Ari was one of Medusa inheritor she could turn things to stone and bring them to life. The hands are located in Pandora jar, Pandora was one of Athena's first creation who betrayed her. All thought Dora to be dead, but in this case she never was. the rest is too interesting to give out but yeah it is a great book!

the main character in this book is Cassia Reyes. She is 16 years old, she lives in a perfect society where there is no poverty. Every kid at age 16 attend a matching ceremony. They get matched with who they are destined to marry. Which I think Is cool but bad at the same time because sometimes they get paired with someone from a different provenance. And plus you dont get to experience or have those wondrous feelings of falling in love they tell you who your going to love and live with. Well anyways during her turn of the ceremony she gets paired with her best friend Xander but then she shes another face that pops up on the screen Ky. Soon she starts falling for him to she knows that she should stay away from him but cant help it. Soon they both fall in love and they kiss on the hill. Thats when everything starts to get crazier. The second book of matched Is crossed.
In the book Rikers High, by Paul Volponi, Martin goes to jail for something he didn't mean to do. While in jail, he gets slashed in the face by an inmate leaving a permanent scar on Martins face that will forever mark him. So, officers switch him to a different part of Rikers where he can attend high school with other inmates. Martin learns just how tough jail is and learns valuable lessons that impact him for the rest of his life.

Coralineby Neil Gaiman (162 pages)- This book is about a girl named Coraline who just moved into one of the flats in the neighborhood. She liked to explore and she hated to be bored. One day while she was exploring she found a small door that took her into another dimension. There she found a copy of her parents who tried to keep her there to steal her soul. Coraline's fake mom snatches her real parents and its up to Coraline to save them. I liked this book because it was short and to the point. There were also no boring parts.
Dead is the new black by Marlene Perez (190 pages) - This book is about a psychic family who live in a strange town called Nightshade. Suddenly with no explanation what so ever a lot of people start dying. They soon find out that the cause of all of the death was a vampire on the loose, Daisy the only normal member of the Giordano family steps up and proves that she isn't so normal and destroys the vampire. I liked this book a lot because when it isn't talking about vampires its talking about Daisy's love life. A total teen relatable book. I cant wait to read the rest of the series.
Wait till Helen comes by Mary Downing Hahn- this book is about a family who just moved into an abandoned church out in the middle of nowhere. Molly and Michael have a little 7 year old stepsister who they have never liked. One day while exploring they find a cemetery and with it Helen's ghost. Helen's ghost tries to kill molly to have some company. I like this book because it grabs you and doesn't let you go its about the 4th time I've read this book and its definitely one of my all time favorites. It has a cliff hanger at the end that's the only thing I don't like about it.

ReplyDeleteMy book was Graceling and it's by Kritin Cashore. I liked this book because it had action and a twist of romance. If you don't like violent books I would not recommend this one to you. It was fun to read when the parts when the two main characters fought eachother. The only boring part was when they were riding to a kindgom on their horses.

ReplyDeleteDuring brake I read "Willow" by Julia Hoban about a girl who was driving her parents home when she lost control of the wheel and her parents ended up dying and to deal with the pain she becomes a cutter. I also read "wings" by Apilynne Pike about girl who thinks she is normal till she sprouts flower like wings and realizes she is a fairy. I also read "The sky is everywhere" by Jandy Nelson. The book is about a girl who's sister dies and she soon finds herself stuck between boys but without her sister's guidance she not sure if she will make it. I also read "13 to life" by Shannon Delany its about a girl who gets called out of class to escort the new boy around school she soon finds out her own feelings for him must be put aside for the sake of her friend but when she finds out what he is her friends feelings are the least of her worries. I also read "Unsouled" by Neal Shusterman. The book is about these kids on the run from the government all while they are trying to stop unwinding.

She runs into a man and his daughter and soon finds that she enjoys their company. Kingdom's lives are at risk and lives are being lost in the war, but she can save them, and she must.
